The Conexpo week that closed Saturday was an amazing experience for both exhibitors and visitors. Thanks to the collaboration of our longstanding North American dealers Hammer & Steel and ICE-International Construction Equipment Comacchio showcased a diversified range of drilling rigs covering the full spectrum of foundation construction and ground improvement applications, alongside solutions for geothermal drilling. The display ranged from the compact and versatile MC 15P to large piling machines such as the CH 18 (formerly CH 450), and included models such as the MC 28 HD and the MC 30.

A highlight of the display was the CH 18, a well-known piling rig showcased in a new configuration for stone column applications, further demonstrating its versatility across ground improvement techniques. The configuration is designed for 360-degree operation and allows the installation of stone columns up to 12.6 m deep, delivering fast and reliable column production.

Another model drawing considerable interest was the GEO 909 GT, a rig specifically designed for geothermal drilling used for ground heat pump installation. This patented solution allows the drilling process to be fully automated, contributing to greater efficiency and consistency on site.
