GEO 900 GT

Double head system

The GEO 900 GT version was designed to meet the needs of customers working in the field of geothermal engineering who wish to utilize a double head drilling system. This rig is particularly suitable for the installation of geothermal borehole heat exchangers in loose rocky terrains and soft soils such as clays and sands. Equipped with a more powerful mast featuring a gear reducer feeding system and increased pull up force, the GEO 900 GT incorporates a double head kit which allows for the continuous movement and the counter-rotation of the two strings (rods and casings), providing a torque output on the lower rotary head up to 3600 daNm. The GEO 900 GT can be equipped with a wide choice of water and mud pumps, used for flushing spoils, and with rod and casing handling systems that facilitate the loading / unloading operations on site, minimizing processing times.
