CA 3550

The CA 3550 is a flagship high-capacity crawler-mounted drilling rig designed for the most demanding water well projects.

The CA 3550 features a heavy duty undercarriage and a robust structure that ensure stability in all conditions. The rig can provide up to 50,000 daN pull and support all single head rotary and rotary-percussive drilling methods. In particular, the CA 3550 can be set up both for direct rotary drilling with water/mud flushing and for reverse circulation drilling, passing from one set up to the other with minimal variations on the rotary head. The versatility of the CA 3550 is also given by the large number of accessories available, such as clamps, winches, pumps and compressors. With a maximum pullback capacity of 50 tonnes, a heavy-duty structural design, and a 291 kW engine, the rig delivers outstanding performance in the most challenging geological conditions, reaching drilling depths exceeding 1,000 meters. Engineered for maximum efficiency in reverse circulation (RC) drilling, it's fully suitable for direct circulation rotary and DTH applications. The CA 3550 is particularly effective in large-diameter and deep borehole operations where high productivity and material recovery are critical. The rig is equipped with a powerful hydraulic system supporting high-torque drilling operations with high-performance duplex mud pumps, it can be offered with special winch configurations, rod handling systems and operator-focused ergonomic controls, allowing the machine to be fully tailored to complex project requirements and intensive field operations.
