Comacchio drilling rigs are widely used in geotechnical engineering for micropile installation, offering high productivity and precise execution across a wide range of jobsite conditions.
A key strength of our vertical multipurpose rigs is the robust and rigid base structure, combined with the long-stroke mast design, engineered to ensure accurate on-hole positioning and consistent verticality, while supporting highly productive micropile construction methods such as jet grouting and CFA (Continuous Flight Auger). Jet grouting is a flexible and highly effective solution for ground consolidation and waterproofing, based on the use of high-pressure fluid jets. From compact units for low headroom and indoor works to high-capacity rigs reaching depths of up to 33 m in a single pass, our rigs are configured around the specific requirements of each project. The ‘F set-up’, available on most models, further expands versatility by enabling efficient CFA (Continuous Flight Auger) and conventional auger drilling, both cased and uncased.
