Renowned for its performance and versatility, the MC 22 has long been the flagship drill rig of the Comacchio range, debuting in 1997 as the first rig to showcase Comacchio’s innovative mast articulation system.

This system allows a wide variety of mast movements, enabling the MC 22 to perform a broad range of ground engineering works, including micropiles, anchors, jet grouting, and general ground improvement, even in confined spaces. Ongoing research and innovation have kept the MC 22 at the forefront of its category in terms of performance, versatility, ergonomics, and safety. Its increasingly powerful engine, combined with a high-performance, efficient hydraulic system, boosts productivity, supporting rotary heads capable of delivering up to 5000 daNm of torque. A key strength of the MC 22 is its complete modularity. Numerous accessories and options integrate seamlessly, allowing the machine to adapt easily to a wide variety of applications and drilling techniques. It can be equipped with a wide range of interchangeable drill rod loaders, designed to enhance both productivity and safety. Operator comfort is maximized through a new, intuitive control panel interface and the latest-generation Comacchio radio remote control, available as an option. State-of-the-art engines, optimized heat dissipation, and electronic controls in the hydraulic system also contribute to lower fuel consumption and a reduced environmental impact.
