MC 8

The MC 8 is a compact yet powerful hydraulic drilling rig designed to deliver outstanding versatility for a wide range of ground engineering applications, including micropiles, anchors, soil nailing, up to jet grouting, and ground improvement.

Its flexible design allows the machine to be tailored to specific customer requirements and site conditions. From a choice of undercarriage configurations to a mast structure engineered for variable stroke, every component is designed for adaptability. The mast articulation can be configured with either Comacchio’s patented kinematic system or a front slewing ring, particularly suited for tunnelling, ensuring the rig can achieve a full range of positions and inclinations. Thanks to its compact footprint and extensive range of movements, the MC 8 performs efficiently even in tight spaces. The MC 8 can be fitted with a wide selection of rotary heads, available with or without percussion kits, enabling it to support multiple drilling techniques. It is also capable of operating with dual-head systems and performing soil improvement techniques such as jet grouting. Additionally, a dedicated configuration featuring a cylinder feed system on the mast and high-speed rotary head allows the rig to carry out soil investigations with precision and efficiency.
