MC 15P GT

The MC 15P GT is a powerful geothermal drilling rig developed specifically for high-productivity dual-head drilling applications in challenging terrain and tight or restricted-access job sites.

Based on the design philosophy of Comacchio’s articulated micropile rigs, the MC 15P GT incorporates an advanced mast articulation system that provides significantly greater positioning flexibility compared to conventional geothermal drilling rigs. Combined with the oscillating undercarriage, this configuration ensures precise vertical drilling alignment on sloping or uneven terrain. Compact in size yet extremely powerful, the MC 15P GT is equipped with a 205 kW engine and a high-performance Comacchio dual-head drilling system, allowing for simultaneous drilling and casing, ensuring excellent drilling stability, high productivity and effective groundwater protection during geothermal borehole installation.The high available hydraulic power allows the installation of a wide range of high-capacity flushing pumps and geothermal-specific accessories, including onboard hydraulic cranes for lifting operations. Like the other GT models in the range, the MC 15P GT can be equipped with integrated cuttings diverters and environmentally controlled spoil management systems, contributing to cleaner and more sustainable drilling operations. To enhance operator safety and manoeuvrability in confined spaces, the MC 15P GT is equipped with the Comacchio radio remote control system for the remote operation of all machine functions.
