MC 5D

The MC 5D is a hydraulic drilling rig with remote power pack, designed for foundation works, underpinning and ground consolidation in confined and difficult access urban job sites: inside existing buildings and basements or beneath overhead structures. 

Compared to the more articulated rigs in the range, the MC 5D features a vertical mast kinematic system, allowing drilling alongside the tracks and in front-the-wall position, making it particularly suitable for urban projects. The rig is optimized for mini piling applications using the CFA method, a fast and effective solution for foundation construction in noise- and vibration-sensitive environments. The modularity of the mast (telescopic or in two elements) allows the machine to be configured according to the available headroom. The power unit can be positioned at a distance of up to 30 m from the drill rig, thus reducing the footprint of the equipment and the fumes emissions on site. An electric version is also available.
