MC 28

Developed as a heavy-duty evolution of the MC 22, the MC 28 is the ideal solution for demanding micropile and anchor drilling operations. Its more powerful engine, combined with a high-capacity hydraulic system, enables the use of advanced drilling systems, ensuring excellent productivity.

The machine can be equipped with a single high-torque rotary head or dual-head systems, available in rotary/rotary and rotary/rotary-percussion configurations (with top hammer or DTH). It also supports the installation of hydraulic drifters and vibro heads, allowing the machine to be configured for different drilling methodologies. The mast’s universal design ensures a wide range of working positions and accommodates various tooling setups. The mast articulation system is based on that of the MC 22, with a significant increase in feed and retract forces. In addition, the special ALS (Anchor Long Stroke) configuration enables long-stroke operation even in tie-rod and anchor positions, further enhancing the machine’s productivity and versatility. Despite its robustness and high performance, the MC 28 remains agile during tramming and positioning on site. To facilitate drill string handling, it can be fitted with a wide range of rod handling systems, including carousel-type loaders with capacities of up to 10 rods. The modular configuration allows the selection and easy replacement of the most suitable system according to operational requirements. A dedicated jet grouting kit is also available, enabling treatment depths of up to 25 metres in a single pass.
