GEO 900 GT

The GEO 900 GT is one of the most widely adopted models in the Comacchio GEO range and has long been recognised by contractors as the ideal balance between machine size, performance and versatility for geothermal drilling applications.

Designed for high-efficiency dual-head drilling in ground source heat pump installations, the GEO 900 GT combines a robust crawler platform with high hydraulic output and a powerful engine, delivering the performance required to efficiently handle a wide range of geothermal borehole conditions, from typical residential developments to larger and more complex drilling projects. In addition, the rig can be efficiently employed for water well construction using a dual rotary head system. Over the years, every aspect of the GEO 900 GT has been progressively refined and optimized specifically for dual-head geothermal drilling applications. This includes the integration of dedicated diverter systems, heavy-duty clamps with integrated casing extraction capability, as well as on-board lifting cranes to support auxiliary handling operations on site, and a range of rod and casing manipulators designed for different pipe diameters and lengths.
