MC 50 LR

The MC 50 LR is a heavy-duty long reach drilling rig designed for large-scale foundation works, particularly the installation of large diameter micropiles and O-Pile walls.

As part of the “long reach” range, the machine kinematics is based on a  parallelogram linkage, keeping the mast vertical during positioning and allowing an extended working radius. A slewing ring integrated into the undercarriage enables 360° operation around the rig. The mast can be positioned vertically or with limited inclination up to 15° sideways and 10° towards the machine, making the rig particularly suited to handle challenging drilling situations, including marine applications such as quay walls and dock reinforcement. With a mast stroke of approximately 13 meters, the MC 50 LR is designed for single-pass drilling with long drill strings. Its high installed power and 15 ton retract force make it ideal for demanding applications involving large diameter DTH hammers. The machine is equipped with heavy-duty stabilizers at the front and rear, as well as a rear-mounted extendable counterweight, ensuring maximum stability during high-load drilling operations.
